HPC Gateway Engineer (Remote), 1yr ltd term (21002023)

This is a one-year limited term joint appointment with a potential for renewal, reporting directly to the Manager of Research Computing with a dotted line reporting relationship to the Director of the Data Intensive Studies Center (DISC) at Tufts University. The position works closely with Research Technology and DISC team members to support and advance web-based gateways for Tufts High Performance Compute (HPC) cluster. The position architects, develops, implements, tests, maintains, and supports web-based gateways and associated servers for Tufts (HPC) cluster used by faculty, students, and staff across all university campuses and research domains. These gateways include commercial and open-source solutions such as OpenOnDemand (OOD), FastX, OpenXDMod, Galaxy, WebMo, RStudio and languages/frameworks including ruby, python, javascript, flask, Django, Angular, React, Node.js.

This position is a remote and the ideal candidate may enjoy a flexible work schedule.
